Covid-19 policy

For live attendees, LJS will follow current local Coronavirus guidance (The City of Livermore, Alameda County Public Health Department, and the California Department of Public Health). Mitigation strategies could include masking, proof of vaccination, additional ventilation, and limiting attendance.

As of 04/29/2024, the following policy will be implemented:

1) Alameda County has no masking requirements for the general public at this time and continues to align with state COVID-19 masking guidance.

2) For added protection, consider masking in any indoor public setting, especially if you are at higher risk for severe disease (over 65 years of age and/or persons with certain health conditions).

3) Anyone who feels ill, has recently tested positive or has been in close contact with any individual who is ill or has tested positive should not attend.

4) For most concerts (weather permitting) we open the patio doors for maximum air exchange with the outside.

On our end:

  • we will offer new N95 masks to those who want them (in case they have cloth masks and want something that protects better against the Omicron variant).

  • we have set up a nuwave OxyPure air purifier unit in the listening room. It is sized to cover a 12,000 sq. ft. area, and uses an ionization process to trap and remove microbes including viruses.
